Awakening Creatives is growing
When I began Awakening Creatives over a decade ago, it was envisioned as a force for creative aliveness, to uplift creatives who are dreaming of change in the world.
We have spent the last 10 years connecting with creatives around the world as well as grassroots nonprofits and social movements to co-create projects such as the Liberatory Care Coloring Book and CONNECT Community Center for Wellbeing.
We have also engaged state agencies, values-driven businesses and communities of change makers who each in their own ways have dedicated themselves to creating equity & flourishing within their communities and the land.
Through this process, the Awakening Creatives community has refined a body of work for transforming organizations from a collective of motivated minds to flourishing ecosystems for cultural transformation.
That is why in 2026, Awakening Creatives is returning to its roots as a creative studio for artful emergence and liberatory imagination — a home for the visionary, the contemplative, and the creative.
At the same time, a new seed is sprouting: Woven Grove Consulting, a fresh container designed to bring nature-informed, relational, and flourishing systems thinking into organizational consulting, community and cultural work.
We are thrilled to nurture this refined vision and align further with collaborative partners in transformation.

My time spent with Liberty was deeply inviting and surrounded with space. They intuitively navigate time together to create a session where you can walk away with new and deeper acceptance or knowledge. We shared a lot in common, and I felt very seen by Liberty in a way that I do not often. They have a deep well of offerings to tailor the time to what you need and want, and it is very moving to have someone bring a new exercise into the healing space and walk you through it based on what they hear. Liberty took time to listen and adjust their approach, and it was always a co-created space.

Liberty is tough, loving and compassionate at the same time. They have been through the highs and lows of growth and healing and have found a way to support others in the process. Rootedness, the fruits of our labors, the need to go dormant in the winter, all speak to the process of growth and healing...healing from trauma, shame, guilt, and the responsibilities we all carry.
